Technology is a catalyst to innovation & greatness in every field, and women are essential to the impact that technology has in the world. Our mission is to create a series of events that elevates the voices of technical women, by allowing them to share their insights and expertise.
Â
Our event is for all engineers who identify as women in a way that’s significant to them. Anyone is welcome as long as they respect that this is a place for women's voices to be heard. We look forward to seeing you there! #TechTalks4TechWomen

Yiqing is a senior Data Scientist at Gro Intelligence, leading the data science team. She works on data pipelines, modelling frameworks, as well as specific crop models such as for US corn and Argentine soybeans.
She was a Postdoc Fellow at the Institute for Mathematics and its Applications at University of Minnesota prior to joining Gro Intelligence, doing research in applied algebraic topology. Yiqing holds a B.S. in Mathematics from University of Science and Technology of China, and a Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics and Computational Science from University of Pennsylvania.
Yi is a Data Scientist at Gro Intelligence, working on crop models including US Soybeans and Black Sea winter wheat. Yi was a postdoctoral researcher at Princeton University before joining Gro Intelligence. Her research was focused on analyzing crop yield variations and crop management using satellite remote sensing. She has studied the North China Plain, the San Joaquin Valley of California, and Zambia during her PhD and postdoc.
Yi holds a PhD in Earth System Science from Stanford University and a B.S. in Mathematics from the University of Dayton.
After interning at Teachers Pay Teachers, Jacqueline joined as a full time software engineer over one year ago. She is currently working on the Schools team, helping teachers get the additional resources they need without the financial burden of paying out of pocket. She learned to program in the Engineering school at the University of Virginia. Knowing the power of education, she volunteers to teach an advanced class for Code Nation, a non-profit that provides high school students in under-resourced schools access to careers in technology. In addition to programming, Jacqueline obsesses over fitness, books and all things motivational.
Nancy Mond is a Director of Engineering at DonorsChoose.org, a non-profit funding platform for public school teachers. Nancy builds and maintains the website that makes it easy for anyone to help a classroom in need. Nancy has a B.S. in computer science and applied mathematics from SUNYA and an M.S. in computer science from Brown University. Nancy has built software for high-tech companies including AT&T Bell Laboratories. When not writing code, Nancy is a recipe hound and an avid listener of pod casts.
Maggie leads the small (but mighty!) Product Management team at DonorsChoose.org, a non-profit funding platform for public school teachers. She holds a B.A. in Economics & Religion from Barnard College. After a stint as an email marketer she joined the DonorsChoose.org Product team. In her spare time she enjoys running, ceramics and trying to stay on top of her New Yorker subscription.
Proud of a talk you've given recently? Are you representing the community of women engineers with some amazing technical work?
